Sesame and Parsley Yogurt Dip

Sesame and Parsley Yogurt Dip

  • Makes
    ½ Cup
  • Cook Time
    10 minutes

This simple dip gets grassy notes from fresh parsley and nuttiness from sesame oil and seeds. Toast the sesame seeds for sprinkling on top in a small skillet over medium heat until golden brown and fragrant, about 5 minutes. The recipe is easily doubled if you’re serving a crowd.

Tip

Don’t use nonfat Greek yogurt. Its flavor is too lean and its texture too chalky to make a creamy, full-flavored dip.

Ingredients
  • ½

cup plain whole-milk or low-fat Greek yogurt

  • 1

    medium garlic clove, finely grated

  • 3

tablespoons finely chopped fresh flat-leaf parsley

  • 2

    teaspoons toasted sesame oil

  • Kosher salt and ground black pepper

  • 2

    teaspoons sesame seeds, toasted

In a small bowl, whisk together the yogurt, garlic, parsley and sesame oil. Taste and season with salt and pepper. Transfer to a serving bowl and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
