    cup white vinegar

  • ¼

    cup white sugar

  • 1

    teaspoon kosher salt

  • 1

    tablespoon finely chopped fresh dill

  • 1

    English cucumber, trimmed, quartered lengthwise and thinly sliced on the diagonal

In a large bowl, stir together 1 cup water, the vinegar, sugar, salt and dill. Stir in the cucumber, then cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour or up to 24 hours.
