Ingredients

    cup reserved chicken cooking liquid, warmed

  • ¼
  • 1

    teaspoon finely grated fresh ginger

  • 1

    teaspoon white sugar

  • ¼

    teaspoon ground white pepper

  • 1

    tablespoon finely chopped scallion greens

In a medium bowl, whisk together the chicken cooking liquid, soy sauce, ginger, sugar, chili-garlic sauce and white pepper. Stir in the scallions.
