Does the Milk Street Carbon Steel Wok Have a Nonstick Coating

Asked Aug 27, 2024 by Erin S.

So, does this, or does it not, have a non-stick coating (teflon-esque)? The listing is unclear. Thank you.

    Hi,

To confirm, the wok is in fact just carbon steel, which develops a non-stick surface with use as oil bonds to the surface. This means there's no limitations to heat level, which there often is with non-stick surfaces. There's care instructions here:

    Thanks,

    Matt C.
