This coconut macaroon pie, from Yelapa, Mexico, is one of several sold on the beach and eaten by the slice, out of hand. This one is made by Augustina Garcia Lorenzo, whose son Gustavo quit a job in the U.S. to return home to sell his mother’s pies.
