
Hisham Ali Hassan
Hisham Ali Hassan is a recipe developer at Milk Street. His fascination with food was sparked at a young age while traveling to Egypt to visit family. His grandmother and aunts raised chickens on the roof of their apartment building. Despite having developed multiple roast chicken recipes, he claims he will never have a roast chicken as good as his Aunt Tua’s. As a graduate of The Cambridge School of Culinary Arts, Hisham honed his skills teaching cooking classes at his alma mater while working in restaurants before making the move to recipe development and food writing. He grew up just north of Boston yet has no trace of a Boston accent.
